Another beautiful day in Boston – and I’m finding it so hard to concentrate…. Long weekend is looming, meetings all afternoon, garden needs tending, and it is gorgeous outside.
Thanks, Wondermark. Maybe if I manage to avoid all distractions I’ll be able to get through today in one piece.
Congrats Steelers. Great game, Cardinals. I still don’t like the Steelers.
I haven’t posted much, been too busy traveling, so I thought I’d take one minute out of my morning and post this:

I just ran into something interesting. Reading the Stray Thoughts section of Warren Ellis’ (superb) blog, I discovered the Piccadilly Records site, where you can Magic Mix a bunch of tracks. Interesting way to find new music.
So many other things to blog about: home, work, writing, reading, fantasy football, the slow demise of summer, I just have a con call in 10 minutes 🙁
Made a ton of progress on Operation: Remodel this weekend – including buying a 42″ flat screen tv. Thinking about it brings a small tear to my eye. It is so beautiful, and it does improve my Guitar Hero abilities!
Now its back to a full week of work. Joyous. List of things to do is longer than my arm.
Thankfully, Valerie wrote a great little post which made life a little funnier this morning!
Happy Fourth of July! It’s been a good week. And now, I’m on vacation. Going to a family thing later today, then we are packing up our stuff to spend a week on the cape! Very exciting.

I am going to clean up this house and get going. If I don’t blog, well, its because of vacation! Woohoo! I am honestly trying to unplug for an entire week. Will I start shaking? Who knows.
Having a Friday before my birthday beer, listening to Pearl Jam, got chills running down my spine thanks to the live version of Release Me.
1.9 days might be a bit excessive though.
Yesterday was just gorgeous out, and we went for a nice after work walk to Jamaica Pond. Then we grilled steaks outside on the BBQ. Oh wonders of late Spring/early Summer! Tonight we’re going to Ten Tables in JP to celebrate my aging process, and Saturday I’m regretfully off to London for a week of work. Don’t know how often I’ll be updating. I have a bunch of stuff on my camera that I need to unload, and holy host of work to finish before landing in London.
