All packed up and ready for New York, but a quick look at Bloglines has me bookmarking this site: 31 Ways to Find Inspiration for Your Writing maybe I’ll even read it in my hotel room :)

Erase mine, too, please

I feel like spending the rest of the afternoon just watching Ghost Dog and finding the appropriate links to the Hagakure.

Obama… Happy Monday

Yet another reason why I’m voting for Obama. Read it all right here.

Ever have one of those Mondays where it’s hard to get started because the list of things to do is too long? I call that every Monday, and today is no exception. I did, however, have time to find this hilarious post on BoingBoing about people who make WoW-like pr0n. Seriously, how funny is that? One of the scenes mentions a masturbating troll.

Steph and I are off to NYC tomorrow, which will be a nice change of pace. I’ve been getting to the office early to hit the gym and get a parking spot. I owe Cambridge enough money in parking tickets, so I try to get here before the four spots we have are gone. But, damn, some people get to the office so freakin’ early! I’m happy to be here by 8:15 and there are days when I still have to struggle for a spot. I have been hitting the gym more often than not, which is a good thing. I actually ran on the freakin’ treadmill. Given, I think I have to lose 40 pounds, which is a tough challenge. Thankfully, my wife is very supportive (and obviously quite near-sighted). She is also chock full of great ideas - the idea of coming to the office early to a) get a parking spot and b) get the workout done was her idea. Her latest idea is for me to stop drinking beer in the month of March. And, I’m proud to say, that I have not had one drop of beer in March. Now, let’s be honest, it is only March 3…

I never got around to making my Groundhog’s Day resolutions, and I think that might be OK, as I am in good company. I have, however, started working out more, which is a good thing. Now I need to do some more writing and guitar playing, and I’ll be all set. Once Spring rolls around I’ll be in the garden day and night, which will be fan-freakin’-tastic.

OK, back to work..
