Andreas Matern’s Weblog

My Father Erwin “Ino” Matern Passed away yesterday, Sunday January 28th. He was surrounded by his family and was very comfortable after battling illnesses that lasted over 6 years. He was 71 years old.

A service will be conducted on Wednesday January 31st from 2pm-4pm and again from 7pm - 9pm at the

In lieu of flowers you can make donations to the Hospice Care Center in Melville New York, or the Winthrop University Dialysis Center.

I want to personally thank all my friends, coworkers and loved ones who were so supportive to me and my family over the last years.

Resolutions!  Who doesn’t have any?  I’m probably going to go generic:

1. Excercise, keeping a schedule and tracking when I do and don’t
2. Success at work, which will undoubtedly entail many late nights
3. Writing, scheduling it just like I’m doing for excercise
4. World Peace?
